Family Sport Horse

Our exquisite stallion   Shield of  Faith   by Art Deco is a substantial Dutch Warmblood/ Thoroughbred who stands 16 hands with a nine inch cannon bone circumference.  Shield of Faith is registered with both the Performance Horse Registry, which is a division of The Jockey Club, and the Pinto Horse Association of America.  He is a  chocolate Brown Tobiano, which means his markings are dark patches on a white background.  Shield of Faith is seventeen years old, of excellent disposition, and up to date on all shots.  He has an excellent walk and his trot and canter are rhythmic and powerful. His hooves are strong and he's kept barefoot.  He has successfully served as a live-cover breeding stallion for a few of our Thoroughbred mares.  His offspring are now grown and perform as pleasure, breeding, and performance mounts in Hunter/Jumper, Eventing, and Dressage.

Shield of Faith has lots of experience with free lunging,  and is ridden bareback  as well as genuinely under  saddle.  His movement is elastic with plenty of suspension.
