Family Sport Horse

We offer two mares who have been raised on the farm with us.   Lambs Mark is an  American Paint  Horse Association Registered Breeding Stock mare out of a Thoroughbred dam.  Wings of Angels is a 3/4 Thoroughbred 1/4 Dutch Warmblood Black Tobiano Mare by our stallion Shield of Faith.   

She has grown into a really lovely mare, 15.3 hands high and an unusual light Bay color. She's twelve years old.  We call her "Lea".  She received her basic training with A. Miller of Whimsy Farm in Edinburg, VA.  Since that time she has impressed us over and over again with her willingness under saddle, especially after long periods of not being ridden.  Lea was bred to Kiss of Gold in 2001 and produced an excellent, muscular colt.  Lea is up-to-date on all shots and Coggins', in good health and overall condition.  Offered for $2,000.00 USD.   See more pictures on photos page.  Please contact us for an appointment to see her.

Wings of Angels, or "Willie", as she is called, is a 16 hand, 11 year old mare by our stallion Shield of Faith and out of Kisses N Hugs, a wide-bodied Thoroughbred dam by Authenticity.  Special since birth, this mare is bold and vocal, she's quick with a greeting.  She's a wonderful prospect for many things:  broodmare, event horse, driving horse, or pleasure mount.  She has only a  little training simply due to the expectation that she belonged to us and would not be sold, therefore the sales horses would receive training time first.  Time passes by.  During her training time, she worked very well long-lining and line driving.  Under saddle work progressed to walk, trot, halt, back and canter.  She responded well to her rider.  She leads and ties, and is great for the farrier.    Please see the photos page for more pictures and contact us to visit her in person.  Thank you.  Willie is presently  offered for the new price of  $3,500.00 USD.
